The British Citizen believes it’s time for a new British Democracy
Despite the occasional Union Jack and some forthright views, our politics are neither ‘right’ or ‘left wing’.
We believe the entire party political system is corrupt, out-of-date and totally unfit for the purpose of managing Britain well.
Today’s main political parties are as bad as each other. We want to see a new way of running the country, with the best people serving us in specific roles because of their ABILITY, and not because they have some vested interest or misguided and morally bankrupt party doctrine.
We also have no time for racism, despite what may appear to be strong views on current immigration policies and practices.
Whatever your background, skin colour or beliefs, if you’re already a British citizen you are one of us. We shall always support you as long as those beliefs are peaceful, tolerant and you want to integrate with British people and our culture.
However, allowing more immigrants into Britain – especially illegal ones – has become a major issue for this country. It seems everyone realises that now, four years after we began this blog and tried to raise the profile of this important issue.
Ordinary British citizens – fed up with politicians and the system that produces them
…fed up with being ignored or exploited by politicians, local councils, banks, big business, oversized supermarket chains, ineffective government ‘watchdogs’ and ‘fair trading’ quangos, gas and electricity companies, rail and other transport operators… in fact, ALL of the organisations we either pay for with our taxes or for whose products and services we pay too much.
Where did the rights of the British citizen go, against these corrupt and bungling politicians, fat-cat bankers, bullying corporations, street hooligans, illegal immigrants, common criminals and incompetent councils?
What happened to the idea of democracy, common decency, consumer rights, honouring a contract and good old customer service?!
Do you want to do something about it?
So do we.
Get involved. Watch this space regularly for events and action in 2009.
Let’s stop these people treating us like fools.
The British Citizen
